It's been years since I posted on this blog and thought today I should write something. This morning i woke up and saw the message on my phone that I had hope to avoid seeing in weeks. But unfortunately today was the day the news came. Our founding father Mr Lee Kwan Yew had passed away.
Thank you Mr Lee for your lifetime of contribution and dedication to Singapore and its people. Without your vision of Singapore, we would not be here today.
Because of you, I am proud to lift my head high and say I am Singaporean and I have come from a wonderful place that I can call home.
May you finally have a good rest and thank you for everything. You are mine and my family's hero.
